Point of View Columns

2011 in review

The WordPress.com stats helper monkeys prepared a 2011 annual report for this blog.

Here’s an excerpt:

The concert hall at the Sydney Opera House holds 2,700 people. This blog was viewed about 14,000 times in 2011. If it were a concert at Sydney Opera House, it would take about 5 sold-out performances for that many people to see it.

Warmest congratulations for this 1st year of yr “Point of View” column, Wallace.
Enjoyed reading everyone of yr columns. It’s a respite from all the frenzied madness that we see or read in the different medias. What’s happening on the political scene in the U.S. is unbelievable, disorienting !… . Ideas and proposals to “improve” the lives of Americans that, if they had been uttered a few years back, would have sent their authors to the madhouse. Now, they seem ‘common’, ‘normal’. Not many people seem to be shocked. Right sensed people seem to be drowned in a see of an ignorant “mass” !. The G.O. Tea Party, its leaders + their followers, seem to be oblivious to the (basic?) fact that whatever happens in America can affect the whole world, with dire consequences for everyone. Then, we’ll have all kinds of refractions, reverberations, shock waves and shock waves in return… . Come election day, I’d wish God Save us from this frenzy!.
